Building Permits and Occupancy Permits Information Session - This event has already occurred
Event Details:
The Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce and the City of Kenora are pleased to announce that they are planning to hold a two-hour evening Information Session to discuss the process for obtaining Building Permits and Occupancy Permits for new construction or renovations to existing buildings.
This information session will be on Thursday, April 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rotary Room at Moncrief Construction Sports Centre.
There have been many improvements to the application process. The presentation will include:
1. When and why, you need a building permit.
2. Zoning Compliance and Applicable Law Review.
3. Using Cloudpermit to submit applications and schedule inspections.
4. The importance of timely Building Inspections.

The presentations are expected to take 60 minutes, followed by a Question-and-Answer session.

- Homeowners and Business owners who are planning renovations.
