Event Details:

The City and Kenora Rowing Club invite the community to join them in commemorating Olympic Silver Medalist, Abby Dent, at a special community event scheduled for Tuesday, August 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kenora Rowing Club, located at 110 Birchwood Crescent in Garrow Park.

Abby competed for Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympics as part of the Women’s Eight crew, where they won the Silver Medal. 

The event will feature a boat naming ceremony, remarks from Mayor Poirier, and an opportunity to meet and greet the inspirational Silver Medalist.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Additional parking is available at the Kenora Sportsplex and Jaffray Melick baseball field. Please be respectful of the neighborhood and avoid street parking.
